Tour Overview
This two days tour to the Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania offers a multitude of memorable experiences in a short amount of time. The Safari tour allows you to explore one of Africa’s seven natural wonders – the Ngorongoro Crater and the Tarangire National Park which boasts many species of vegetation and animals.
Tarangire is known for their endless plains of savannah and their immense elephant herds. You will be introduced to the infamous big five and marvel at the colossal landscape of the crater in Ngorongoro.
Tour Itinerary
2 DAYS, 1 NIGHT TARANGIRE & NGORONGORO CRATER
Day 1: FROM MOSHI/ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE
08:00am After breakfast the driver safari guide will pick you up from your hotel to Tarangire National Park 1 hr 30 min (109.3 km).
09:30am Arrival in Tarangire after sign in the gate permit then enter for wildlife game driving
13:00pm Picnic lunch in the bush (local beer included)
14:00pm Back to the game driving
16:00pm Driver will start to drive back to the exit gate and drive 1 hr 10 min (92.7 km) to Ngorongoro Forest Tented lodge for dinner & overnight
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA / MOSHI
08:00am Check out from the lodge after breakfast the safari guide will drive 33 min (21.9 km) to Ngoro Ngoro entry gate.
08:35am Arrival in Ngorongoro Conservation Area after sign in the gate permit then descent into the Ngorongoro crater floor for wildlife game driving.
13:00pm Picnic lunch inside ngorongoro crater (local beer included)
14:00pm Back to the game driving
16:00pm Driver will start to drive back to the exit gate and drive 2 hr 30 min (190.5 km) to Arusha/Moshi.
